General Cancellation Policy

Customer Responsibility

Cancellations or booking changes must be made directly with Chanty’s Learn to Worm by phone, text or email.

It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure their cancellation or change request has been received and confirmed by Chanty’s Learn to Worm.

More Than 7 Days Before Your Lesson

Cancellations or changes made more than 7 days before your booked lesson may be eligible for a full refund, credit or reschedule, subject to availability.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before your lesson may not be eligible for a refund.

Where possible, we may offer a credit or reschedule if enough notice is provided and another suitable lesson time is available.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your lesson, or failure to attend on the day, will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

You may send someone else in your place, as long as you notify us before the lesson begins.

Weather, Tide & Beach Conditions

Beach worming lessons depend on safe weather, suitable tides and beach conditions.

If Chanty’s Learn to Worm needs to cancel or reschedule your lesson due to weather, tides, surf conditions or safety concerns, you will be offered the choice to reschedule or receive a refund.

Weather or condition-related cancellations are made by Chanty’s Learn to Worm only.

Minimum Numbers

Some group lessons may require minimum numbers to go ahead. If minimum numbers are not met, Chanty’s Learn to Worm may contact you to reschedule or offer a refund.

Children & Supervision

Children are welcome, but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Children under 10 may attend free with a paying adult. Children up to 16 years old must attend with a paid adult participating in the lesson.

All our instructors are blue card holders.

Safety & Behaviour

Chanty’s Learn to Worm is a family-friendly outdoor experience. Unsafe, rude or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Anyone behaving in a way that puts themselves, others, wildlife or the beach environment at risk may be asked to leave, with no refund or reschedule offered.

All our instructors are hold a CPR & first aid certificate.

Alcohol & Intoxication

Anyone who appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol may not be permitted to take part in the lesson.

No refund or reschedule will be offered in this situation.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

If a booking made with a gift voucher is eligible to be rescheduled, the voucher or booking credit will remain valid until the original expiry date.

Environmental Care

Beach worming takes place in a natural coastal environment. All participants are expected to respect the beach, local wildlife and any relevant rules or regulations.

Please follow your instructor’s guidance at all times.

Photo & Video Consent

By participating in a lesson with Chanty’s Learn to Worm, you consent to photographs, videos, audio recordings, or other electronic media being taken during the lesson for use by Chanty’s Learn to Worm.

If you are signing up on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have explained this consent to the child where appropriate.

You authorise Chanty’s Learn to Worm to use these images and recordings for promotional, advertising, and educational purposes relating to our activities, programs, and services. This may include use on our website, social media pages, printed materials, and other digital or video platforms that may be viewed publicly online.

You understand that:

  • no payment or compensation will be provided for the use of these images or recordings;
  • Chanty’s Learn to Worm retains ownership of all images and recordings taken; and
  • you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting Chanty’s Learn to Worm in writing.

Upon receiving a withdrawal request, reasonable efforts will be made to stop future use of the images or recordings where possible.
